Palo santo, or holy wood, is the wood taken from the Bursera Graveolens tree, one of the most fragrant trees in the world. It has a sweet pine, mint, and lemon aroma, and thanks to its amazing aromatic properties, it has been used for centuries as a natural incense. In many cultures, palo santo also has a spiritual use, heralding good luck, healing, and protection.
